Day 65

I started out trying to work with backlighting, I wanted the shell to appear translucent.
I couldn't quite get it the way I wanted it to look, so settled for a straight shot of a shell my daughter gave to me many years ago.

Day 64

I worked on dropping strawberries into milk for 2 hours this morning, and this is the best one. I just couldn't get it sharp like I see others do on Flickr . I don't know what the secret is. I used 2 flashes , one on each side and a white board in the background, don't really understand how it turned blue. I had to play around with the colors a lot because the strawberry was too dark and the water was blueish. Anyway I decided to post it today, rather than try something else , so as the year goes on I can revisit this and hopefully see a great improvement.
By the way it makes a HUGE mess, lots of clean up, and you have to clean off your lens after each drop. I went through a 1/2 gallon of milk.

Day 63

No time to set anything up today, so I stopped on my way home and tried getting some car trails. To my delight a bus passed by and added some nice lines.
