Day 177

I drove down to Long Island to see my Great Niece perform in her yearly dance recital. Marisa is a wonderful little dancer and I love going to see her every year. Even though it took me 3 hours to drive there :-(. This photo was taken after the performance , there's no photography allowed during the recital. Every other year I was able to sneak my camera in . This year they were very strict about enforcing that rule.

Well I tried using a tutorial today to make this photo look like a sketch, but I just couldn't follow it near the end, I think I really needed a Pad to write on. So I found another tutorial here

After driving my daughter back home to the city, I took advantage of her gratitude and got one last shot of her inside her apartment :-)

Day 104

I went to the photography exhibit at the Wilton Library today, outside were these tables and chairs set up. I took a few photos of the empty chairs, then thought it would be so much more interesting if I had someone sitting in them. Just as I was about the leave a car pulled up and these 2 cute kids jumped out..... wearing red!
I told them I was doing a project where I had to do a photo a day, and the girl said , that's great I do lots of 365's in writing. I asked if they would sit in the chairs for me , the dropped their backpacks out of the frame and sat down for me. Are they cute or what?

Yay! Another milestone 100 days completed ! I went to a photography meetup today and asked the model to jump for me for today's photo.
