I found this lovely beet at the grocery store yesterday and knew I wanted to photograph it using textures. I set it on the floor on a black cloth, spritzed it with some water and shot in natural light.

On January 1, 2010 I began Project 365. I plan on taking a photograph everyday. I want to learn to be a better photographer and learn more creativity. Lighting, photoshop and composites are on the top of my list for improvement.
