Day 162

Had to run to the mall tonight, and once again, no photo today, ugh!!!!! i shot the first in the series inside the mall. The second shot was just a pattern I saw on a wall. The third was a few rows of shopping carts and the fourth some elements outside the mall. It wasn't until I got home that I realized everything that caught my eye was a combination of reds and yellow or golds. None of them made that much of an impression on me until I realized I should make a tetraptych !

Day 123

OMG I almost missed today! My daughter called me and said "I don't see your picture today, you only have 45 minutes left."
Fortunately I just finished working on it and was trying to post it.
I bought these tiny cherry tomatoes today which were perfect for the tiny colander I already had.

Day 95

I received alot of flowers yesterday for Easter. Some of them got bent while being transported. I don't like to waste things. So I thought, this Gerber Daisy was deserving of at least a photograph before discarding it.

Day 94

My pre dinner wine glass on the kitchen table was making such a great reflection, this just had to be my shot for today.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Day.

Day 68

I found this lovely beet at the grocery store yesterday and knew I wanted to photograph it using textures. I set it on the floor on a black cloth, spritzed it with some water and shot in natural light.

Day 24

My daughter bought some heart shaped cookies tonight, so that became my subject for today. After several failed attempts of just photographing the cookies I enlisted Kathryn to be my model. I really wanted to play around with adding gels to my flash to light up the background to be reddish to match Kathryn's blouse and cookie. After many attempts I finally got it. The problem is I really needed a flash for her too, but only had the one working. The pic came out kind of boring so I had to add some textures to make it a little more interesting.
